Luca Marini showed the first ever VR46 sponsored MotoGP machine, 2021 Esponsorama Racing Ducati. Marini gets promotion from Moto2 category together with VR46 sponsored backing in Esponsorama Racing (formerly known as Avintia).
The VR46 Esponsorama Ducati livery is consisted of shiny black, contrasted by chrome blue and famous yellow.
The rumors are that Esponsorama Racing will not stay in MotoGP beyond 2021 season, and this move align with expectations that Valentino Rossi’s team VR46 will get this MotoGP slot from 2022 season.
The agreement between MotoGP and independent team is ending with conclusion of 2021 season, which will make things easier for Rossi’s team to make a full-time move to MotoGP class.
This means that in 2021 Rossi will race alongside three of his team academy riders, Luca Marini, Francesco Bagnaia and his Petronas SRT team-mate Franco Morbidelli.
